CPN-UML calls General Convention Organizing Committee meeting

Kathmandu: The ruling CPN UML has called the meeting of the party’s 10th National General Convention Organizing Committee. The Standing Committee meeting on Sunday has decided to convene the meeting of the General Convention Organizing Committee, party’s spokesperson Pradeep Kumar Gyawali informed. According to him, the meeting will take place at 11 am on June 30.

“In the Standing Committee meeting, we have discussed the current political situation, Covid 19 pandemic, and the natural calamities. As some decisions are to be made in these issues, the Standing Committee decided to convene a meeting of the General Convention Organizing Committee on June 30,” Gyawali said.

Likewise, he added that the meeting held at Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar also decided to speed up the renewal of party membership.
