Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) decreased by 5.24 points on Tuesday to close at 2,818.10 points. The Sensitive Index also registered a decline by 1.97 points and reached 526.75 points.
The stock market has been witnessing a fall for the past few days.
All other sub-indices expect non-life insurance, banking, manufacturing and processing, microfinance and life insurance fell today with the hydropower sub-index registering a decline of 48.03 points. The non-life insurance sub-index increased by 166.09 points.
The stock market recorded a total turnover of Rs 4.2 billion with 10,135,209 shares of 220 scrips traded today.
