Kathmandu: Outgoing Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has remarked that the Supreme Court (SC) passed the verdict also on issues not demanded by petitioners.

Addressing the nation before leaving his office on Tuesday, the outgoing Prime Minister added that that the court’s decision will invite complexities in a long run.

“Verdict delivered going beyond the demands of plaintiffs will create complications. The court raised the issue of constitutional ethics, “Oli said.” I have dedicated my whole life to democracy.”

Stating that the UML was committed to following the decision, Oli said that it would invite political complexities in the future. Oli claimed that the government was toppled because it raised the issue of development and sovereignty.
