Kathmandu: Following the Supreme Court verdict on Monday reinstating the House of Representatives and issuing a mandamus order to President Bidya Devi Bhandari to appoint Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba Prime Minister, Deuba has already been appointed PM of Nepal.

Deuba was administered the oath of office on Tuesday. He is the chief executive of the country.

Following this, KP Sharma Oli vacated the official residence of Prime Minister at Baluwatar and moved to his private residence in Balkot on Wednesday.

But three days after Oli lost his position, KP Sharma Oli’s Twitter handle still mentions him as the Prime Minister of Nepal (as of two PM on July 15).

Sher Bahadur Deuba has updated his bio from President of Nepali Congress to Prime Minister of Nepal and President of Nepali Congress on Twitter.

However, Surya Thapa, who served as press advisor to outgoing PM K P Oli, has updated his bio mentioning ‘Ex.Press Advisor to the Prime Minister of Nepal.’
