Kathmandu: CPN-UML’s Standing Committee meeting has been scheduled for Sunday.

According to party central office secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang, the meeting will take place at Lalitpur-based Tulsilal Memorial Academy at 11 am.

He shared that the standing committee meeting has been called to frame the agenda of the Central Committee meeting and also to make preparation for the statute convention.

The 14th central committee meeting has been called at Tulsilal Memorial Academy building at 11 am on Monday. He informed that leaders close to Madhav Kumar Nepal are also invited to the standing committee meeting on Sunday.

Earlier, UML had decided to host its statute convention on August 9-11.

It may be noted that the leaders of Madhav Kumar Nepal side did not take part in the standing committee meeting held on last Friday. The meeting had endorsed the 10-point agreement submitted by the task force formed to resolve the intra-feud of the party.
