UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal withdraws resignation as lawmaker

Kathmandu: CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal has withdrawn his resignation as a lawmaker. Lawmaker Rawal who had tendered his resignation on July 18 withdrew his resignation on Friday.

Elected from Achham Constituency-1 as the House of Representatives (HoR) member, Rawal had tendered his resignation from the post stating that he ‘won’t participate in an immoral political game’.

Rawal had submitted his resignation letter to Speaker of HoR Agni Prasad Sapkota saying that it would be good to keep aloof instead of being an instrument of immoral politics and political exercise against the country and people.

Rawal, who was a member of the UML’s Dispute Resolution Taskforce, had resigned from the post of lawmaker prior to giving a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba in the Parliament.
