Kathmandu: The government on Tuesday recommended the appointment of Prithviman Singh Gurung as Province Chief of Gandaki Province and Amik Sherchan as Province Chief of Lumbini Province.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers took a decision to that effect.
Before recommending the names of Gurung and Sherchan, the Cabinet had decided to dismiss Chiefs of Province 2, Gandaki and Lumbini.
