Three die, seven injured in Gulmi jeep accident

Kathmandu: At least three persons have been killed and seven others injured in a jeep accident at Musikot Municipality-4 of Gulmi district on Wednesday.

Gulmi Police Chief SP Gopal Chandra Bhattarai told Nepal Live Today that three passengers died on the spot when a jeep, Lu 1 Ja 4559, met with an accident at Dobhan.

The deceased are Tejendra Karki of Chandrakot Rural Municipality-4, Resham Karki of Chandrakot-5, and a woman who is yet to be identified, police said. The jeep heading to Tamghas, the district headquarters, from Shantipur met with an accident at around 11:30 am this morning.

Seven others have been injured in the accident and the condition of one of the injured is critical, said SP Bhattarai. The injured are being taken to the District Hospital in Tamghas for treatment.
