Nepal registers 4,107 fresh Covid-19 cases and 35 fatalities in last 24 hours

Kathmandu: Nepal on Wednesday recorded 4,107 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,975 were diagnosed with the virus in PCR tests while 1,132 were confirmed positive in the test undertaken through the antigen method. Samples of 11,354 people were tested through the PCR method while 4,944 samples were tested adopting the antigen method.

With this, the number of active cases of coronavirus across the country has reached 33,464.

A total of 1,535 people got discharged during the last 24 hours, the Ministry added.

According to the Ministry, 35 people had lost their lives to coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. As of today, coronavirus-related death has reached 9,957.
