Oli, second-rung leaders ‘leaving’ Nepal camp agree to implement 10-point deal

Kathmandu: The CPN-UML Standing Committee meeting is convening on Tuesday. It is said the second-rung leaders who have not sided with either of the UML establishment side led by party Chair KP Sharma Oli or the Nepal-Khanal group will be present in this meeting.

These leaders of the so-called ‘neutral’ group including the party vice-chairman Bhim Rawal, who had previously openly sided with the Nepal-Khanal group, today, held discussions with party Chair Oli.

An agreement was reached in this meeting to convene the Standing Committee Meeting and to make the party dynamic. They agreed to move ahead in accordance with the 10-point agreement regarding resolving the intra-party differences they reached on July 11.

UML central office secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang said the meeting of the standing committee will take place at 11 am on Tuesday at the Tulsilal Memorial Building at Chyasal, Lalitpur.
