Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index fell by 48.42 points on Wednesday to close at 3,076.45 points as the trading closed.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies also fell by 9.67 points and slumped to 567.99 points.
All sub-indices registered a decrease today with the non-life insurance sub-index witnessing a decrease of 422.53 points.
The stock market registered a total turnover of Rs 12.09 billion with 19,599,089 unit shares of 227 scrips traded today.
The Nepse index had plummeted by 56 points on Tuesday.
