Kathmandu: The government is preparing to pass a bill on replacing the budget ordinance by suspending some rule of the House of Representatives.

A bill on replacing the ordinance will be tabled and endorsed through the meeting.

Earlier today, Minister for Finance Janardan Sharma had tabled ordinances on budget amid obstruction from the main opposition CPN-UML.

The main opposition CPN-UML has obstructed the meeting of the House of Representatives, yet again on Friday. The UML lawmakers left their seats immediately after the start of the meeting and picketed the bell.

The UML HoR members argued that those who were taken action by the party could not attend the meeting and also chanted slogans against Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota accusing him of abetting the UML party split.

The UML had taken action against 14 lawmakers including leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, which the Speaker denied to approve.
