CPN-UML obstructs House session, once again

Kathmandu: Protesting against Speaker Agni Sapkota’s refusal to expel 14 lawmakers formerly from the main opposition CPN-UML, its lawmakers once again obstructed the House Session on Sunday afternoon.

The main opposition had also obstructed the House Sessions on September 8 and 10.

During Sunday’s parliamentary party’s meeting of the CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli said that the party he heads would continue the House obstruction as speaker Sapkota has “failed to maintain the dignity” of his position. He also directed his CPN-UML lawmakers to obstruct the house with dignity.

Following the House obstruction, Speaker Agni Sapkota postponed Sunday’s session for 15 minutes.
