Kathmandu: A total of 1,511 people were diagnosed positive for Covid-19 through 11,208 RT-PCR and 3,971 antigen tests in the last 24 hours. This takes the total number of cases so far to 781,989 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Likewise, 1,689 people recovered today, taking the total number of recoveries to 745,215.
The number of active cases as of today is 25,772 of which 24,222 are in home isolation while 1,550 are in institutional isolation. Of them, 407 are undergoing treatment in the ICU of various hospitals while 128 are with ventilator support.
Meanwhile, 11 people succumbed to Covid-19 today, taking the death toll to 11,002. The case fatality rate is 1.5 percent.
