CPN (Maoist Center) leader Barsaman Pun to be airlifted to Thailand for treatment

Kathmandu: Preparations are underway to airlift former minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Standing Committee member Barsaman Pun to Thailand for further treatment.

CPN (Maoist Center) central member Ram Prasad Sapkota ‘Deepshikha’ said that preparations were being made to take Pun to Thailand as there was no improvement in his health. The former minister is currently undergoing treatment at Sumeru Hospital for jaundice.

“There has been no improvement in health so far. All reports will be studied throughout the day today. Pun will be taken Thailand if there are no signs of improvement is observed today,” said Sapkota.

However, Sapkota said that Pun’s health condition was stable. He was admitted to the hospital last week due to health problems.
