Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population on Wednesday reported 1,157 new Covid-19 cases and eight fatalities in the last 24 hours.
The new cases were confirmed from 10,652 RT-PCR and 3,889 antigen tests.
With the new cases, the Covid-19 caseload in Nepal has reached 784,163 in PCR and 91,373 in antigen tests.
Likewise, 1,113 recovered from the pandemic in the last 24 hours taking the total recovered cases to 754,847. The recovery rate stands at 96.3 percent as of today.
A total of eight people succumbed to the pandemic. The new deaths have taken the death toll to 11,123, the Health Ministry said in a regular update.
