Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population on Thursday reported 1,078 new Covid-19 cases and 12 fatalities in the last 24 hours.
The new cases were confirmed from 8,555 RT-PCR and 3,210 antigen tests.
With the new cases, the Covid-19 caseload in Nepal has reached 795,061 in PCR and 91,553 in antigen tests.
Likewise, 911 recovered from the pandemic in the last 24 hours taking the total recovered cases to 765,758. The recovery rate stands at 96.3 percent as of today.
A total of 12 people succumbed to the pandemic. The new deaths have taken the death toll to 11,135, the Health Ministry said in a regular update.
Nepal currently has 18,168 active Covid-19 cases.
