Kathmandu: Nepal is defeated by the strong Indian side on Sunday in the ongoing SAFF Championship being held in the Maldives.
In the match dominated by the Indian side, a goal from skipper Sunil Chhetri in the 82nd minute of the game was enough for the seven-time champion to beat Nepal.
With the win, India has kept the hopes alive to qualify for the final of the tournament.
Despite losing the game, Nepal are still on the top of the table with six points.
Nepal is playing its final match of the tournament against Bangladesh on Wednesday.
