591 new cases and two deaths reported in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: A total of 591 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population said on Thursday.

The cases were diagnosed from 8,848 RT-PCR tests and 2,507 antigen tests.

With the new cases, the Covid-19 caseload has reached 811,407 in PCR and 94,369 in antigen tests.

Likewise, 664 Covid-19 patients recovered during the same period, taking total recoveries to 789,789. The recovery rate stands at 97.3 percent.

Nepal recorded two Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours. The death toll has now reached 11,382.
