Kathmandu: Bagmati Province Chief Minister Rajendra Pandey took the oath of office and secrecy on Thursday. Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma administered the oath to the newly-appointed Chief Minister.
Pandey was appointed as per Article 168 (2) of the constitution with support from 59 lawmakers.
Along with CM Pandey, three new ministers took the oath of office and secrecy. Krishna Lal Bhadel from Nepali Congress (NC), Kumari Moktan from CPN (Maoist Center), and Krishna Khanal from CPN (Unified Socialist) took oath today before Province Chief Sharma.
Moktan has been assigned a portfolio of Social Development, Sharma of Internal Affairs and Bhadel of Physical Infrastructure.
