People’s Liberation Army assists 300,000 vaccines to Nepal Army

Kathmandu: China has provided medical supplies and Covid-19 vaccines to the Nepal Army (NA).

A total of 10 ventilators, 100 oxygen concentrators and 300,000 Vero Cell vaccines were handed over to Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma by the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi on Monday.

The supplies were assisted by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), NA’s Directorate of Public Relations said in a statement.

Speaking on the occasion, NA Chief Sharma thanked the Chinese government and PLA for the assistance.

NA said the assistance will further boost the relations between armies of the two countries.
