Dr Shivaji Poudel elected Nepal Medical Council Vice-President

Kathmandu: Dr Shivaji Poudel has been elected Vice-President of the Nepal Medical Council. Dr Poudel got 5,072 votes while his closest contender Dr Pramod Kumar Yadav received 2,437 votes.

Likewise, Dr Ram Parikshan Yadav got 762 votes.

Dr Hulas Agrawal has been elected a member by receiving 4,459 votes. Likewise, Dr Toshima Karki, Dr Kalu Singh Khatri, Dr Guru Saran Shah, Dr Kunjan Sherpa, Dr Rupak Ghimire, Dr Bishworaj Duwadi and Dr Rohit Kumar Misha got elected as members.

A total of 9,318 votes were cast in the election in which 35 candidates were in the fray for one Vice-President and eight members.
