OTT platform ALTBalaji expands to Nepal

Kathmandu: Indian OTT platform ALTBalaji has partnered with Telenet Pvt. Ltd. for its promotion and distribution in Nepal.

Telenet, the local partner, will ensure integration across local billing channels such as digital wallets, telecom operators, and payment gateways so that local users can activate and enjoy the engaging and exciting content from the comfort of their homes.

This collaboration will ensure a new user base for ALTBalaji shows, which were previously inaccessible to many due to a variety of factors, it said in a statement.

“The OTT platforms are next wave of entertainment and our strategy to provide uninterrupted access to users via various business models will ensure a new dimension in collaboration for Nepal Market while ALTBalaji will ensure high quality engaging content stream constantly for the viewers in Nepal,” said Navankur Sood, CEO, Telenet.
