Kathmandu: A total of 58 candidates have withdrawn their nominations for the party’s central membership at the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress.
The time to withdraw the nomination was extended till 12:30 PM Sunday.
Similarly, Yuvaraj Neupane has withdrawn his candidacy from the party’s president and Surendra Prasad Chaudhary from the post of party’s deputy general secretary.
Neupane, after withdrawing his candidacy, said that he will support Dr Shekhar Koirala in the election.
