Govt plans to table six ordinances on first meeting of House’s winter session

Kathmandu: A total of six ordinances will be tabled in the first meeting of the winter session of the House of Representatives on Tuesday.

As per the tentative business of the lower House, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand will present three ordinances. Likewise, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Renu Kumari Yadav one and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dilendra Badu will table two ordinances.

A meeting of the House of Representatives has been called for 2 pm tomorrow.

The government had recalled the ordinances from the earlier session of the Parliament following obstruction from the main opposition party, CPN-UML.
