National Assembly meeting postponed until further notice

Kathmandu: The meeting of the National Assembly (NA) has been postponed until further notice following the obstruction from NA members from the main opposition party CPN-UML.

At the beginning of the meeting, UML lawmakers stood from their seats and picketed the rostrum. https://piedmontmastergardeners.org/ NA Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina requested UML MPs to let the upper house run its business. The meeting was postponed after the lawmakers continued obstruction.

The main opposition party, UML, has been obstructing both lower and upper houses demanding that 14 lawmakers it took action should be dismissed.
