Kathmandu: Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population on Thursday stated that the country recorded 293 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths in the last 24 hours.
The new cases have taken the Covid-19 caseload to 826,664 in RT-PCR tests and 96,092 in antigen tests.
A total of 11,626 tests were performed in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
Likewise, 263 people recovered from the pandemic during the same period. The recovery rate stands at 98 percent.
The death toll from the pandemic stands at 11,591 as of Thursday.
