Kathmandu: Youth leader Ranju Darshana has announced quitting Bibeksheel Sajha Party. In an appeal on Thursday, Darshana said that she had relinquished all the responsibilities she had taken in the party.

“I will remain politically active only in the role of a conscious independent citizen from December 23 until I take any other political decision,” she said in the appeal.

Darshana accused that the party has been involved in dirty politics in a guise of an alternative political force in the country.

“I tried to clear litter in the politics but failed. So, I can’t make the Nepali politics further filthier by continuing my association with the party,” she added.

Darshana was a founding member of the then Bibeksheel Nepali Party. She had contested for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City in the local-level election.
