PM Cup T20: Tribhuvan Army Club beats Karnali Province by 63 runs

Kathmandu: Defending champion Tribhuvan Army Club has made a winning start to Prime Minister Cup T20 cricket tournament.

Tribhuvan Army defeated Karnali Province by 63 runs in the inaugural match held on Monday.

Chasing down the 117 runs target set by Army, Karnali managed to get 53 runs on the board losing all wickets in 14.4 overs. Jitendra Mukhiya of the Army took four wickets as Sushan Bhari and Shahab Alam grabbed two wickets each.

Earlier, put to bat first after losing the toss, Army scored 116 runs on the board losing all wickets in 19.1 overs. Binod Bhandari top-scored at 29 runs. Prakash Jaishi of Karnali grabbed three wickets.
