Kathmandu: Nepal reported 3,553 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP). One patient succumbed to the virus during the period. The new cases were confirmed through 15,081 samples tested in laboratories across the country.
Covid-19 cases have surged in the past few days, with experts speculating the rise of a third wave.
With the addition of new cases, Nepal currently has 14,340 active Covid-19 cases. A total of 271 people recovered from the pandemic in the past 24 hours.
