Kathmandu: The cadres of CK Raut-led Janamat Party vandalized the vehicle of mayor and deputy mayor of Hariwan Municipality of Sarlahi district on Wednesday.
The vehicle with registration number State-2-03001 Jha 002o was heading towards the polling station of the National Assembly election in Janakpur.
Mayor Dinesh Prasai was injured in the attack. Prasai has been sent to the provincial hospital for treatment.

Deputy Mayor, Renuka Paudel, who was also in the vehicle, is safe.
The government vehicle is completely vandalized.
Likewise, Janamat Party’s cadres have also vandalized the vehicle of Ashok Yadav, member of provincial parliament of Madhesh Pradesh. Yadav has also sustained injuries.
