Kathmandu: Executive Chief at Freedom Forum Tara Nath Dahal has registered a complaint against Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Renu Yadav for incitement to repeat the Gaur massacre.

Dahal lodged a First Information Report (FIR) through a post office on Monday.

On January 19, Minister Yadav had threatened that CK Raut could meet the same fate as those who were killed at the rice mill of Gaur in 2007.

“That rice mill still remains. If you want to face the storm, we will repeat what happened in that rice mill,” she said in the speech.

More than two dozen of unarmed people were mercilessly killed on March 21, 2007, by leaders and cadres of Madheshi Janaadhikar Forum (Madheshi People’s Rights Forum) in the rice mill area.

Minister Yadav later claimed that her remarks were misinterpreted in a biased manner.

Earlier, Kathmandu-based intellectuals and activists had written a letter to the chiefs of the parties represented in the government demanding that Minister Yadav should be sacked.
