Kathmandu Triennale to commence this week

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Triennale, an art exhibition that features the artwork of over 100 artists from more than 40 countries, organized by the Ministry of Culture Tourism and Aviation and Siddhartha Art Gallery, is all set to begin Friday. The month-long art exhibition will take place till March 11.

“Alongside, exhibiting the arts, the event will also hold discussions on colonialism, migration, displacement, local knowledge tradition, and others from a euro-centric perspective,” said the organizers.

The exhibition will be held in five different places, that includes, Patan Museum, Bahadur Shah Baithak, Nepal Art Council, Taragaun Museum, and Siddhartha Art Gallery.
