Kathmandu: The country has reported 1,369 new cases of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population said on Thursday.
Among the new cases, 1,013 were confirmed from 8,880 RT-PCR tests while 356 were known from 3,000 antigen tests carried out in the last 24 hours across the country.
Similarly, a total of 2,238 infected got recovered in the same period. With this, the number of active cases in the country is 29,004. Of them, 27,930 are in home isolation and 1,074 patients are in institutional isolation.
Likewise, a total of 225 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in ICUs of various health facilities while 32 are with ventilator support.
A total of 12 people succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 11,864.
