NC will not forge electoral alliance with Maoist Center, Koirala tells Prachanda

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Shekhar Koirala has said that his party will not forge an electoral alliance with CPN (Maoist Center) in the upcoming local polls.

Leader Koirala told CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ that NC will contest the elections on its own. Koirala reached Prachanda’s residence Khumaltar on Thursday morning.

Personal Secretary to leader Koirala, Dinesh Thapaliya, said that the leaders discussed issues including local polls and resuming House.

CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN (Unified Socialist) leaders have been claiming that the coalition will continue till the polls. However, some NC leaders are not in favor of the electoral alliance.
