Nepal climbs two spots in FIFA rankings

Kathmandu: Nepal has climbed two positions in the FIFA rankings.

As per the latest rankings made public by the international football governing body, Nepal has been placed in the 167th position. Nepal was earlier in the 169th position. Nepal had recently defeated Mauritius in two friendlies.

In South Asian countries, India has been ranked top at 104th position. Likewise, Afghanistan 150th, the Maldives 157th, Bhutan 185th, and Bangladesh 186th.

Likewise, Pakistan has been ranked 197th and Sri Lanka 204th.

Belgium has topped the rankings.
