Quadrangular T20I Series: UAE sets 193 runs target for Nepal

Kathmandu: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has posted 193 runs target for Nepal in the Quadrangular T20I Series held in Oman on Saturday.

Put to bat after losing the toss, the UAE notched up 192 runs on the board losing three wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Chirag Suri top-scored for the UAE at 84 runs off 53 balls, smashing five fours and five sixes, as Rohan Mustafa made 49 runs. Basil Hameed contributed 17 runs.

For Nepal, Shahab Alam, Sandeep Lamichhane and Aarif Sheikh took one wicket each.

Earlier on Friday, Nepal had defeated Oman by six wickets in its first match under the T20 Series, comprising four countries, in the match was held at the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Oman.
