Kathmandu: A total of eight Covid-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic across the country in the past 24 hours. This takes the total Covid-related deaths to 11,900 as of today.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 747 new infections were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. This was recorded from 8,696 samples tested including 6,279 through RT-PCR and 2,417 through antigen methods during the same period.
Also, a total of 2,319 infected ones recovered in the past 24 hours. So far, 940,902 people have recovered with the recovery rate standing at 96.6 percent. There are 20,739 active cases of Covid-19 in the country.
Meanwhile, 216,118 people received Covid-19 vaccines in the country today.
