Kathmandu: The secretariat of Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale has expressed concern that Minister Ale was being defamed with baseless accusations. Minister Ale’s chief personal secretary Hemanta Regmi informed that indecent comments were made against Minister Ale and leaders of CPN (Unified Socialist) via social networking sites.

A video has been doing rounds on social media in which Minister Ale is allegedly using abusive words.

Regmi further said Minister Ale was cast aspersion by bringing into public the informal and personal matter held when Ale was not holding the public post, so those involved in this activity must be brought to book.

A person named Jagat Oli originally from Achham district of Sudurpaschim Province and currently staying in Mumbai has been continuously pestering and blackmailing Minister Ale and making public the matter on social networking sites, according to the secretariat.

Minister Ale’s secretariat further claimed that some people who have been nervous over the good works carried out by the Minister in the recent time were inciting the mass against him, so everyone was urged not to be swayed by such an attempt.

Moreover, the secretariat expressed worry that after Ale was associated with the CPN (Unified Socialist), the cadres of the former party were repeatedly using invectives against Ale via social networking sites.
