Nepal restricts Canada to 80 runs in T20 World Cup Qualifiers

Kathmandu: Nepal has restricted Canada to 80 runs in the match under the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers ‘A’ on Monday.

Canada managed to get only 80 runs on the board losing all wickets in 15 overs, courtesy of an impressive and disciplined performance by Nepali bowlers. Sandeep Lamichhane grabbed three wickets giving away only 12 runs in his four-over bowling spell. Kamal Airee and Abinash Bohara took two wickets each.

Tailenders Dillon Heyliger and Salman Nazar of Canada made 24 and 10 runs respectively. No other batsmen managed to score in double-digit.

The match was played at Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket in Oman.
