Kathmandu: The ruling coalition has decided to ratify the Millennium Challenge Corporation-Nepal Compact from the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting taking place today.

A meeting of the ruling coalition partners held in the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar has decided to ratify the compact. “The second meeting of the HoR today will ratify the compact,” said Ram Chandra Poudel, a Nepali Congress leader.

MCC compact was tabled in the parliament on February 20 amid obstruction by the main opposition CPN-UML.
