Suspicious object found outside Parliament building

Kathmandu: A suspicious object has been found outside Parliament building in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu on Monday morning.

According to SSP Sudip Giri at Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, a pressure cooker wrapped with wires and pasted with a message ‘No MCC’ was spotted in the middle of the road.

Police have cordoned off the area and diverted the traffic.

A bomb disposal squad of the Nepal Army has been called, police said.
