Nepal reports less than 100 new cases, zero Covid-19 related death

Kathmandu: Nepal reported 91 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, said the Ministry of Health and Population on Saturday.

The new cases were detected from 6,220 tests. The daily positivity rate stands at 1.4 percent. With this, the active caseload in the country stands at 6,947.

Likewise, 362 patients recovered from the disease during this period taking the total number of recoveries to 958,555. The recovery rate currently is 98.1 percent.

The Health Ministry said no new death was recorded in the last 24 hours. Nepal’s Covid-19 death tally stands at 11,945 as of Saturday afternoon.
