Kathmandu: Mangalam, Nepal’s first CPVC pipes and fittings manufacturer, has launched its new product “Mangalam Wiresafe” at Nepal Buildcon International Expo 2022.

Urban Development Minister Ram Kumari Jhankri unveiled the wire safe in the presence of media personnel. The expo is being held in Bhrikuti Mandap from Friday to Sunday and Mangalm will be displaying its other products as well.

WireSafe FRLS electrical conduit pipes are built with the aim to provide a safer environment for homeowners.

Different types of pipes are available in the market for different purposes in a house and they are used for their specific purpose. But in the case of electric wires and cables, people are still using HDPE pipes due to a lack of awareness and unavailability of a specific product. HDPE pipe is mainly built for water mains and drainage systems and it is not considered safe for wiring electrical wires and cables.

Abhinav Churiwal, Managing Director of Mangalam Industries said, “We are excited to launch our new product Mangalam Wiresafe, which is the need of the hour. We have been hearing so much news on short circuits and other accidents caused by electric leakage. Choosing the right piping and plumbing materials is equally important to make a home better and stronger as pipes for a home are like the veins in our body. With the availability of Wiresafe, we hope to reduce such hazards due to fire causing loss on properties and lives of people. “

All the products of Mangalam are made in Nepal using high-quality Japanese raw materials and state-of-the-art German technology. Mangalam Industries has been producing all the pipes and fittings required for the construction work in Nepal. It has the largest laboratory in Nepal, and all of its products are ISO 4985 certified.
