ŠKODA inaugurates new service center in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: MAW ŠKODA, the authorized importer of ŠKODA in Nepal, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art European-class service infrastructure at Sitapaila, Kathmandu.

The service center is jointly inaugurated by ŠKODA owners renowned Orthopaedics Dr Chakra Raj Pandey and actor Anoop Bikram Shahi. The new state-of-art service is built in line with Skoda’s new corporate identity and design, the company said in a press release.

The workshop facility in Kathmandu is built with the aim to further strengthen Skoda’s position in Nepal, and push forward its campaign of establishing a strong foothold in the market, reads the release.
The service outlet is strategically located at Sitapaila, Kathmandu that covers an area of 15,000 sq. ft. The workspace is equipped with 14 bays equipped with two-post lifts & individual tools set with pneumatic tools to serve customers quickly.

The service has an in-house test-drive track that helps to identify driving-related issues quickly and is also backed by a huge spare parts warehouse with high inventory to serve ŠKODA cars.

“We are delighted to introduce the European-class service facility to our customers. We hope that the state-of-the-art service infrastructure and optimized business processes will enable us to deliver an unmatched service experience,” said Raunak Agarwal, Executive Director of Skoda Nepal.

Skoda currently has a service network in nine cities and has aimed to increase the accessibility of the brand by establishing a wider dealer network.
