Kathmandu: Nepal which is preparing for AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers is taking on Thailand in a friendly match on Thursday.
The match between Nepal and Thailand will start at 5:45 pm Nepali time in Chonburi, Thailand. Earlier, in 1987, Nepal had played two games against Thailand during the Olympic Qualifiers.
The match against Thailand will be very useful for the Asia Cup selection, said Nepal’s Head Coach Abdullah Almutairi.
After the match against Thailand, Nepal will compete against Chonburi FC of Thailand on Sunday. The national men’s football team left for Thailand on Monday for two friendly matches.
