Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will be visiting India next week.

The Prime Minister will be visiting the southern neighbor from April 1-3 on an official invitation of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi. It is said that the Foreign Ministries of both the countries are currently working for the visit of Prime Minister Deuba.

During his visit to India, Prime Minister Deuba and Indian Prime Minister Modi will jointly inaugurate the railway service. The government had re-issued the Railway Ordinance a few days ago for the purpose.

Earlier, Deuba’s visit to India has been canceled in January due to a Covid-19 surge in India. At the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prime Minister Deuba was scheduled to address a global conference on ‘Vibrant Gujarat’ to be held in Modi’s home state of Gujarat from January 10 to 12.
