Kathmandu: A street festival is to be organized in Kathmandu on the occasion of Nepali New Year 2079 BS.
The 15th Durbar Marg Festival 2079 is about to be organized in Durbar Marg of Kathmandu with the slogan of ‘Cooperation for the Revival of Small, Domestic, Small and Medium Enterprises and Tourism Industry’.
The festival is being jointly organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal and Darbar Marg Development Board in collaboration with Ncell. Gorkha Brewery is the co-sponsor of the festival to be held on April 16.
The festival is being organized with the objective of promoting domestic tourism and supporting the tourism development of the country and promoting Nepali products, Nepali dishes and Nepali culture, according to organizers.
