Kathmandu: Police have arrested 16 persons on the charge of online gambling from Kathmandu Metropolis-6 on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Boudha, raided a local eatery and arrested those involved in online gambling.
According to the police, Rs 74,150 has been confiscated from the arrested.
Likewise, police also confiscated 1, 500 bingo tickets and two speakers from the arrested. Police are further investigating the case.
