Kathmandu: Insurance policyholders associated with Health Insurance Board can now renew their policy by making an online payment.
State Minister for Health and Population Bhawani Prasad Khapung inaugurated the service during a function.
Now, policyholders can renew their policy from their bank accounts through Connect IPS.
A family is entitled to coverage of up to 100,000 through the insurance policy of the government. A total of 5.3 million beneficiaries are currently using the service.
